I'm Shané!
My job is to plan the epic event of your dreams.
I am a passionate and ambitious event planner who loves planning large scale celebratory events. I enjoy connecting with people and have always had a calling for helping others, especially helping others manifest their events into reality.
At Glammoré, event planning is all about relationship building. I prioritize getting to know my clients through the journey of planning their events, always leading to long lasting friendships and relationships for future collaboration. Problem solving is one of my greatest skills; I pride myself in expert communication, negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Throughout my 20 years of experience planning events in the higher education industry, medical industry, non-profit organizations, and at varied private events throughout the Tri-State and New England area, my trusted reputation for exceeding my client expectations manifests with every event I produce.
Growing up, the energy in my home was
magical.
When I was child, my parents had parties nearly every weekend. These parties were a big production for a small apartment dwelling in big NYC. I remember my dad preparing appetizers and dinner for the festivities on those evenings, while my mom set up the music in the living room and moved furniture for a night of dancing. There were tons of top shelf liquor on deck, fancy plates, glasses and silverware on our kitchen
table covered with gorgeous linen. All the rooms were adorned with a fancy bedroom set. Once the guests arrived, I remember the excitement and joy on everyone’s face as they enjoyed a great time and partied the night away.
To this day, people still talk about my parents’ house parties. It was these early childhood experiences that inspired me to pursue my passion as an event planner. I want my clients and their guests to walk away with that exact same feeling of joy and excitement when they attend an event created by GPE. After all, the guest experience is really what events are all about!
