  • What types of events do you plan for clients?
    I plan corporate, nonprofit, special events, and destination events. Basically, all types of events, celebrations and milestones with the exception of weddings.
  • Do you plan weddings?
    No, Glammoré Premier Events does not plan weddings. However, we design and style weddings!
  • What is the difference between an event planner and event designer?
    An event planner is the person who plans all functions with the client and manages the event. An event stylist is the person who is in charge of all the design aspects and decor of the event. There are two different offerings and two different fees.
  • What are the fees for planning?
    My scope of service is broken down in 3 categories: planning fee, decor and styling fee and day of coordination fee, which includes set up and break down. My fee varies based on the type of event and the number of guests attending the event. **Please note my fee does not include vendor payment. Payment for contracted vendors are the responsibility of the client**
  • What is a "destination event"?"
    A “destination event” is an event or celebration planned by Glammoré Premier Events held in one of these specific caribbean islands: Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico or Jamaica. You and your guests will be able to celebrate any type of event in a private mansion or villa that includes great ambiance, food, entertainment, and/or excursions for you and your guests.
  • Can I get a consultation with you before booking? How much does that cost?
    Yes. I have a process where I require all my prospects to fill out a basic questionnaire to get an idea of what they want before the consultation meeting. Once the questionnaire is complete, I schedule a 45 minute consultation to discuss and go over the event details.
  • What does the questionnaire ask?
    The questionnaire supports me as your prospective event planner in understanding your vision and budget for this project. Please be sure to answer all questions as thoroughly as possible. If you are still unsure of your event details, that’s okay! We can discuss it on our consultation call. However, your proposed budget for the project is important.
  • Why should I use an event planner?
    Event planners are a life and time saver. Event planners know the ins and outs of the industry and are able to negotiate prices for our clients to get the best rates. We plan everything from beginning to end for your event while you sit back and relax and enjoy your event!
  • How do you choose your vendors?
    I choose my vendors based on my clients needs and type of events. I research and consult with various vendors before I choose the right one for my client.
  • Do I have to use your vendors if I hire you as my event planner or designer?
    No, you do not. As my client, if you have selected a specific vendor for your event I will work with them to make sure your event is executed successfully.
  • Do you offer day-of coordination support?
    Yes! I offer packages customized specifically for my client's needs. If you only require my services for the day of coordination and nothing else, I can make it happen.
  • My venue offers an on-site coordinator for the day of the event. Do I still need an event planner?
    Yes. The on site coordinator works for the venue. Therefore their responsibility is making sure your event runs smoothly from the venue's perspective. The event planner works with the on-site coordinator to make sure all the client’s needs and wants are met. The on-site coordinator will not be responsible for the design or decor component, entertainment or other amenities that the venue does not offer, including sending out invitations to your guests. But if you hire Glammoré as your event stylist, we can handle those tasks for you!
  • Do you carry insurance?
    Yes. I also require every vendor I work with to provide me with a copy of their insurance policy.
